Alabama Public Television Purchases Learn360 For Statewide Use
Learn360 , has been added to Alabama Public Television's (APT) free online educational media service
WOODBURY, NY, January 27, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Leading educational digital content provider, Learn360 , has been added to Alabama Public Television's (APT) free online educational media service, APTPlus . More than 850,000 K-12 students, using APTPlus in the state of Alabama will have access to Learn360's interactive media-on-demand services. The addition of Learn360 will provide the state of Alabama with robust educational content from trusted sources such as: A&E Television Networks, National Geographic, Sunburst Visual Media, and Encyclopaedia Britannica.

Already present in 41 of the 50 U.S. states, this is one of several purchases of Learn360 where the service will be implemented statewide. APTPlus users will now have access to Learn360's diverse database consisting of more than 7,500 digital video titles, a variety of audio files, 5,000 still images, and 24,000 articles and essays from various well-known educational providers.
Learn360 is known for easy-to-use functionality that allows teachers to upload content, create assignments and quizzes, and communicate with their classes via discussion boards and blogs.
