St. Louis-based Curas Named Top U.S. Reseller by eClinicalWorks
Company recognized as leader in setting up electronic medical offices for physicians across the country

ST. LOUIS, MO, March 26, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Curas, a St. Louis-based health information technology consulting company, has been named as the top U.S. reseller of eClinicalWorks, the established leader in unified, ambulatory electronic medical records and practice management solutions.

Curas is a nationwide value added reseller of eClinicalWorks, a solution that enables physicians to manage patient flow from check-in to check-out and streamlines their practice to improve efficiency, increase revenue and decrease medical errors. More than 30,000 medical providers in 50 states rely on eClinicalWorks to manage their clinical practices.

With the eClinicalWorks suite of products, Curas helps physicians modernize their practices by taking advantage of new technologies that allow them to spend less time dictating, filing paperwork and checking billing codes, while allowing for more focus on patient care.

"We believe physicians should spend their time seeing patients, not sorting through paperwork," said Num Pisutha-Arnond, Managing Partner at Curas. "Physicians in St. Louis, and across the country, are seeing the value of electronic medical offices, it allows them to spend their time practicing medicine and not managing a file room."

Founded in 2004, Curas primarily services medical providers in Missouri, Illinois, Tennessee, Arkansas, and Mississippi, including Saint Anthony's Physician Organization in St. Louis, Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Festus, Midwest Nephrology in St. Peters, Women's Care Consultants in St. Louis, and Arthritis Consultants and Parkcrest Orthopedics in Creve Coeur. However, the company also offers implementation and support services for eClinicalWorks to various medical practices across the United States.

"We currently support over 600 physicians in more than 30 states with practices ranging in size from solo practitioners to multi-specialty 70-plus provider practices," said Pisutha-Arnond.

Curas was chosen as eClinicalWorks top reseller for number of provider licenses sold, implemented, and supported.

"Curas' responsiveness, product knowledge, and close St. Louis location has been critical to our success in implementing eClinicalWorks. We have been extremely pleased with the eClinicalWorks product," said Dave Hinkle, Executive Director of St. Anthony's Physician Organization.

Curas offers a full range of eClinicalWorks services including certified specialists that assist practices with training end users, workflow consulting, support, installation, data migration, and custom reporting. The company also maintains its own call center which provides support to physicians with a guaranteed two hour response time.

In addition to being named the top eClinicalWorks reseller, Curas recently received approval from Apple on an eClinicalWorks application for iPhones. The company plans to launch the application later this month.
